Perhaps we deferred due to the plethora of living singers calling for our attention first. This may have something to do with our chief editor’s advancing age, the onslaught of early dementia. Paul John Weller (born John William Weller; 25 May 1958) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. Weller achieved fame with the punk rock/new wave/mod revival band The Jam.
