Brother Strut is an English Funk & Soul band from London. The band consists of bassist Paul Turner, drummer Frankie Tontoh, guitarist Otha Smith, keyboard player/vocalist Sam Tanner, percussionist Karl Vanden Bossche (of Gorillaz), and saxophonist/keyboard player Stevie Jones.
There’s something endearing, old-timey and almost vaudevillian about Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale — even the way they bill themselves as “Buddy and Jim.”
