Emmylou is an excellent musician. Any knob with ears knows the rare musical talent that is Emmylou Harris on her own or when beautifully supporting another vocalist. Emmylou Harris is an artist that deserves your full attention.
Discovered Rufus prior to truly getting to know the songs of his mother (Kate McGarrigle), sisters (Martha and Lucy), and father (Loudon Wainwright III). Like so many, I came to Rufus via his first release in 1989 and songs like, “in My Arms”, “Millbrook” “Beauty Mark” and “Barcelona”.
