Reusing is renowned for her commitment to local sourcing, collaborating closely with small farms and producers throughout North Carolina while advocating for food policy change. She was the founding chef and general manager of Enoteca Vin, the critically acclaimed wine bar and restaurant in Raleigh. In 2002, she opened Lantern, where she artfully blends North Carolina ingredients with Asian flavors, earning accolades such as inclusion in America’s Top 50 Restaurants by Gourmet and recognition for one of America’s 50 Most Amazing Wine Experiences by Food & Wine.
